Networking is the way FORWARD...

This event aims at helping young women to improve their networking skills while also providing them with a safe space to learn and network with companies and other successful entrepreneurs or aspiring entrepreneurs. 

You will learn about the importance of networking as an entrepreneur and be given valuable tools to improve your own networking skills through workshops. Attendees will also be given an opportunity to meet valuable contacts. 

Our hope is that you will leave with a positive attitude, confident and with the tools to help you network successfully to get you one step further in the business world.

There are limited number of seats and the event is aimed for SheSupp, WCN, Lean In Stockholm, or NOVA members ONLY. If you are not a member of any of these networks you may register as a member first* and then register to the event. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Make sure you arrive on time since we will start at 18:00 sharp, and the doors will be locked after that .

Our panel speakers

Olivia Ekmark
Entrepreneur

Olivia was only 19 years old when she started her first business in Stockholm, a restaurant at Tegnérgatan. This business led her to London, Los Angeles and later on Berlin. During this time she also co-founded several successful companies. She’s now back in Stockholm where she is studying Business and Economics at Stockholm University and coaching people in entrepreneurship.

Johanna is the Founder & CEO of Herringbone - a San Francisco originated company that provides business development and integrated market communications consulting; since 2016 Stockholm based, with the purpose of bootstrapping the development of social innovation Humactify™. She is the co-author of Social CRM For Dummies (Wiley, 2011) and has 14 years of business and startup experience in California. Previously, she served on the board of the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce San Francisco/Silicon Valley and Fearless Women Entrepreneurs.

Carolin Solskär
Founder of Unipreneurs Network

Carolin is a former sailor who after 9 years at sea decided to go back to school to study Computer Science and Business. Her big passion in life is entrepreneurship and therefore she took the initiative to found Unipreneurs Network. Unipreneurs Network was founded in May 2016 and is a collaboration between all the entrepreneur associations at the universities in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Uppsala. The purpose of the organisation is to make students with different education and background able to meet each other and create companies together. Diversity is the key when it comes to building a company, so by showing students all over Sweden that they are stronger together, Unipreneurs Network hope to contribute to build strong organisations.

Head of Marketing and Communications at Watty

Maral, also known as, ‘Maral from Twitter’, ‘Energy pack’ or ‘Curly’ is one of the most familiar faces in the Stockholm tech scene. Currently, Maral is the head of marketing and communications at Watty, one of the hottest artificial intelligence energy startups in Sweden. She is also the co-founder of Peppy Pals and SUP46 Femtech Forum moderator. Maral has over 10 years of experience in digital marketing. 
She was listed as among the 100 most influential names in the Scandinavian startup scene by tech site The Nordic Web in 2016.
